In a vibrant display of camaraderie and competition, the 11th Sandals Latin American Travel Advisors Golf Tournament unfolded at the picturesque Sandals Golf and Country Club in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The Brazilian team, consisting of Fernando Nunes Ferreira, Breno Luz, Raphael Abreu, and Ricardo Dantas, celebrated their victory with infectious enthusiasm. “It’s something amazing to be champions,” Nunes Ferreira shared, beaming with pride. The team finished with an impressive 64 points, outpacing their closest competitors from Colombia and Mexico, who tied with 67 points.

Anne Nunes Ferreira, owner of the Sao Paulo-based travel agency Annestour and wife of Fernando, highlighted the networking opportunities the tournament provided. “I’m so proud to visit here, to have this opportunity to network through golf,” she said. Her experience in Jamaica has inspired her to promote the island’s offerings back in Brazil. “Sometimes, Brazilians aren’t aware of places in the world unless they visit them,” she explained, emphasizing the importance of firsthand experiences.

With the tournament wrapped up, the Brazilian team is already setting their sights on the upcoming Sandals International Travel Advisors Golf Tournament in St. Lucia this November. They will face off against the winners from the U.S. and Canadian tournaments, eager to continue their winning streak.
