As we find ourselves in the midst of March, the vibrant festival season is already in full swing. The excitement kicked off in late February with Tempe’s Innings Festival, which featured an impressive lineup including the likes of Beck, The Black Keys, and Gary Clark Jr.. Just last weekend, Miami Gardens’ Hard Rock Stadium hosted the 18th annual Jazz in the Gardens, showcasing talents such as Lauryn Hill, Toni Braxton, and recent GRAMMY winner Doechii.
The festival circuit is heating up, with the renowned SXSW recently wrapping up in Austin, Texas. Known for launching the careers of artists like John Mayer and James Blunt, SXSW also featured a plethora of conferences, workshops, and showcases. Meanwhile, the Sips and Sounds Music Festival and San Antonio’s Sunset: The Festival at the Epsee have also come and gone, adding to the vibrant tapestry of events this season.
As the days grow longer and warmer, the festival lineup for 2025 is shaping up to be nothing short of spectacular. While some beloved festivals like Pitchfork Music Festival, Faster Horses Festival, and GoldenSky Country Music Fest are taking a break this year, there remains an abundance of musical celebrations across America and beyond. Rolling Loud
Inglewood, California (Mar. 15-16); more cities and dates TBD
Rolling Loud, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in Miami, is set to return to Inglewood’s Hollywood Park for another star-studded event. This year’s lineup includes heavyweights like A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, YG, and Ken Carson. Notably, Peso Pluma, a leading figure in the corridos tumbados scene, will make history as the first non-hip-hop artist to headline the festival.
Ultra Music Festival
Miami, Florida (Mar. 28-30)
The Ultra Music Festival is gearing up for its 25th anniversary, hoping for smoother sailing than last year’s event, which was marred by torrential rain. Despite the weather challenges, top-tier EDM artists like Afrojack and Zed’s Dead are set to light up downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park.
Breakaway Festival
